Every phone we sell is professionally refurbished, fully tested and Phonecheck certified before it is listed. What differs between our grades is cosmetic appearance only.
Condition affects looks, not performance
A Good-grade iPhone runs exactly as well as an Excellent one. Same chip, same screen quality, same minimum battery health, same warranty. The difference is whether you can see that someone owned it before you.
Our three grades
Excellent — Grade A+
Like new. No visible signs of use. Pristine screen, body and buttons — you would not be able to tell it apart from a brand new device. This is our highest standard and our most popular grade for gifts.
Very Good
Very close to Excellent. Minor cosmetic marks only — light scratches visible under direct light if you look for them. The screen is flawless. The best balance of appearance and price.
Good
Noticeable cosmetic wear on the body — light scratches or scuffs you would see in normal lighting. The screen remains in great condition. Fully functional and thoroughly tested. If the phone is going in a case anyway, this is the smartest buy on the site.

What is Phonecheck?
Phonecheck is an independent device certification service used across the refurbished industry. It runs an automated diagnostic across every function of the handset, confirms the device is not blacklisted or iCloud-locked, and reports the true battery health. We run it on every device before listing, so the condition we describe is verified rather than claimed.
Frequently asked
Will a Good-grade phone feel old?
It will show its age on the outside. In the hand and on the screen it performs identically to our Excellent stock. Most customers who buy Good put a case on it within the hour.
Is the battery the same across grades?
Yes. Every device we sell ships with a minimum of 80% battery health regardless of cosmetic grade, verified through Phonecheck. Battery condition is never a factor in how we grade appearance.
Are your phones unlocked?
Every phone we sell is unlocked and SIM-free, so it works with any Irish network.
What is not covered?
Accidental damage is not covered by the warranty. Because refurbishment involves opening the device, the original water-resistance rating can no longer be guaranteed, so water damage is also excluded.
What if I am not happy with the condition?
Send it back within 14 days. If a device does not match the grade we described, tell us and we will make it right — that is the whole point of grading honestly.
